My Story

Welcome to Petals in the Paddock...

Leanne's love for flowers began at home with both her Great Grandma and Mum playing influential roles in her flowery world. The knowledge and experience of gardening, nature and flower growing that she has been exposed to from her childhood to now is invaluable.

Leanne's floral journey officially started over 15 years ago and she always says she hasn't had nice nails since!

Leanne has been part of two successful floristry businesses to date. Firstly owning and running her own store in Shipston on Stour. Bumble and wild Floral Design, which she closed in 2020 due to COVID. The second, Geum Florist, which she ran alongside her friend Sian. Following the arrival of Leanne's daughter Autumn, the pair decided to take a break from flowers and closed the business.

Leanne has now created Petals in the Paddock, a floristry business that is finally able to combine her love for growing her own flowers from her workshop paddock and creating floral beauties in the most natural and wild way possible.

Whether it's flowers to a friend, celebrating a big event, saying your goodbyes to a loved one or maybe even a little treat for yourself, Leanne's got you!

The beauty of buying from a small, local business, like Petals, means it's Leanne picking, arranging and delivering all your floral goodies in and around the Cotswolds.

SOMETHING REALLY IMPORTANT TO LEANNE...

Flowers are one of the most natural resources possible yet for years, the floristry industry has regularly adapted it's ways to become less and less nature friendly.

Leanne strongly believe in taking things straight back to nature and making sure that in every aspect of her business, sustainability is paramount. And because it's important to her, she wants it to be important to you too.

Most (if not all!) of the flowers in each bouquet Petals in the Paddock make are grown on Leanne's workshop cutting patch, and if she hasn't grown it, then she sources it from other British growers where possible. Petals strive to bring to you what nature intended into your homes and at any event flowers may be a part of.
